Commitment to nature

At Ramšak Organic Farmwe strive to take care of our unspoilt nature

preserve a healthy environment and save energy in all areas.

Paths and trails

Walk only on marked paths and respect the boundaries.

Do not walk on pastures, as they are food for our animals.

Driving on meadows (even if they are freshly mowed and "inviting" you to race) is strictly prohibited - this applies to all means of transport.

Do not walk on forest trains, as the path can be very dangerous due to work in the forest.

Do not pick flowers during the journey, do not destroy the fruits of nature and respect the wildlife.

Waste

Take back what you bring with you.

Do not leave waste in nature, even organic waste - it can change the eating habits of wild animals.

Waste is separated in the accommodation facility (instructions can be found in the infomap in the room).

Parking lots and camping

Camping, camping or parking vehicles for several days in the area is not allowed.

There are suitable locations for campers and tents in the valley.

Making a fire in nature is prohibited, as it can quickly cause a fire.

Nature is not a public toilet. There are suitable designated areas (public toilets) in the valley for this purpose. To perform an "urgent need" in nature is inappropriate, disrespectful and...

You are a guest in nature, so we ask you to respect it and behave appropriately.

Water

Rivers, streams and lakes are the habitat of numerous organisms.

In nature - do not use detergents and other cleaning agents in the water.

Also in the accommodation facility, handle water rationally (you can find instructions in the info folder in the room).

Animals

Do not feed animals, as this can harm them.

In our area, foreign FOUR-LEGGED PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED! We have many animals on the farm that are not used to foreign four-legged friends. Please do not let your pets into our surroundings!

Our surroundings are not intended for the disposal of dog feces - please take care of them.

Please do not "tease" livestock by calling, movements. An animal that does not know you can be very dangerous. Approaching animals (for example, for the purpose of taking photos) is strictly prohibited! You can observe / photograph animals from a distance.

Locals

Solčavsko is our HOME. We live and work here.

Respect our privacy, homestead, land.

Without permission, movement in private areas (indirect areas of residential buildings, stables, workshops, etc.) is prohibited. The home surroundings are intended for our stationary guests or announced groups, as they are already informed in advance about the purpose of the facilities.

Guests eating by are prohibited from taking photos of the facility (stable, workshop, etc.).

Drone filming is prohibited!

Locals want privacy and safety, so we ask for your understanding.

Heritage

Do not interfere with cultural monuments, pastures or other heritage facilities.

Do not destroy the inventory in the area.

Mountains

Only go into the mountains properly equipped and with respect for nature. Find out about the weather conditions and follow the safety recommendations.

Both the accommodation facility and the information center are happy to advise you on choosing a route. Since nature has changed its appearance in the mountains with its force in recent years, before setting off, find out about the current situation of the route (Is the route passable? Is the route marked? Has the difficulty of the route changed?).

Traffic

Choose sustainable transport and opt for experiences that respect nature and the community. Especially during the summer season, there is a lot of organized public transport in the valley (minibuses, bicycle transport, etc.). All information regarding the timetable is provided by the providers and the information center.

Cycling is highly desirable from a sustainability perspective. Unfortunately, there are no routes specifically designed for cyclists in the Solčava region, so caution on the roads is even more necessary.

Only go by bike with appropriate equipment!

You are not alone on the road. Ride as the CPP dictates (right side of the road, cyclists in a group line up one behind the other, do not pause in the middle of the road, etc.).

Before setting off, find out about the difficulty of the terrain and check your bikes.
